WVP Adopts-A-Highway
If you're wondering why Woodland Boulevard (Highway 17/92) from Taco Bell on the south end to Stetson University on the north end is so clean, it's because West Volusia Properties has adopted the road that runs through the heart of historic downtown DeLand.
West Volusia Properties, FloridaWild Veterinary Hospital, and Stetson University's Philosophy Club worked in 2005 for Hurricane Katrina Victims. A car wash, bake and rummage sale, a dog wash, and distribution center at WVP raised over $1,000 and 8 carloads of clothing, food, and water!

Stetson students get wet to help! Their professor, Dr. Ronald Hall, Broker Maggi's husband, joins in the fun in West Volusia Properties parking lot! Even Maggi's brother, Charles, drove down from St. Augustine to help. |
Dr. Erin Holder, Maggi's daughter (Left), washes a client's patient in the courtyard of FloridaWild Veterinary Hospital |
Agent Jimmy Mikitta and wife, Pam, bring "Stretch" in for a cleaning. Emma, Dr. Holder's daughter and Maggi's granddaughter, enjoys the day. |
